2002 Audi A4. I'm a non-trad and have been in the career-world for over 4 years, otherwise I would not have been able to make payments! My car is for sale, however, because my dogs don't fit in it anymore. Time for a "family" vehicle. 🙂

Raleigh Mojave 2.0. Serves my purposes well. 😉
(yes it's a bicycle)
(yes it's a bicycle)
1994 Mazda Protege with a variety of issues. A little over 135K miles on it.
'98 Ford Mustang currently at 170K, hoping to make it last! I've driven across the whole country twice in it, and am VERY attached. (great guy magnet btw, helped snag my husband
) The only problem is that two humans plus two 35-50 lb dogs + mustang = VERY CROWDED. I am angling for a Ford Escape Hybrid but who knows what will happen.
'70 Ford F-250 Sport Custom pickup. awww yeah. Technically my husband's truck but I definitely drive it! Although, hm, not so much right now as it's not so much working right now. Oh dear. This one will almost definitely be for sale when I (hopefully) get into vet school (unless we stay in CA or move to OR, maybe). So if anyone wants an AWESOME beast of a truck and likes tinkering with engines.... hit me up!

2000 Jetta TDI(diesel), great commuter car, 125k miles
1968 VW bus, fun toy, total chick magnet, ??? miles
1979 vespa scooter, fun toy, not so much the chick magnet... , 22k miles
yay... a fellow TDI'er!! Mine is an 03 Jetta TDI.. just around 120,000 miles on it. even with diesel hovering around 5 bucks a gallon, nothing like having to only fill up every 600 miles or so 🙂 though I also am a proud new owner of a Trek Navigator 2.0 bicycle to pedal myself around town!
2002 Chevy Cavalier. Nothing fancy, but I get decent mileage and my dog fits on the back seat just fine. Plus, I'd have been much more unhappy if the tree that fell on my car last year had crushed something *expensive*. Even if it did get fixed all right.

Ah, come one david, nothing more sexy than a guy on a scooter!!! 😀
94 Chevy Cavalier with 105,476 miles (just got my oil changed, thats how I know), purple accented with rust. Non-matching mirrors and dented passenger side. Interior lights smashed out in west philadelphia 🙂
Its pretty hot. Both my shepherds fit in it. Getting something new(er) when I move out of the city in January.

My daily driver's a '98 Chevy Cavalier that's got so much hail damage that it looks like a big purple golfball.
My baby is my '67 Cadillac Superior 3-way hearse that I've been restoring for 2 years now. It gets about 6-8 mpg, so it rarely gets driven.

My DH and I drive matching 2000 Chrysler Town and Country Minivans. (One Red and One Black...Go UGA!) Never thought of myself as a mini-van driver, but with 3 kids and a 60lb dog, not much else works. I had a Chevy Tahoe before child #3, which fit my personality much better. When child #3 gets out of a car seat, I'll be searching for a Hybrid or Electric SUV.
I drive a 2005 Chevy Impala and DH drives a 1997 Toyota Camry. Unfortunately, if we want to make a trip with all four dogs of any distance more than about 15 miles, we take both cars, which negates the respectable gas mileage of both. 🙄 We looked into a Toyota Highlander 4x4 hybrid, but they aren't great at towing much of anything. We may try a Escape hybrid instead and just take out all the back seats.
I got a question for you horse folks. If/when we get two horses just for trail riding assuming we move out to Colorado or Wyoming when I get out of school, how big a trailer do you need? Keeping in mind I have no interest in showing or any of that. Plus how big a truck do you need to haul said horses plus said trailer?

At the moment, a 2005 Toyota RAV4. However, I'll be getting rid of it before I head off to school and will be commuting via bus and my bicycle! 😀 I'm a little paranoid about my bike standing out in the crowd, but I've heard that as long as I lock it up well, the bike theft around the vet school is pretty low. Also, it will be interesting commuting on a bike in negative temperatures! 😱 I'll probably end up taking the bus 24/7 in no time!

👍 Cool.
Honda Fit!!!! yeeeeehaw. everything fits inside, amazingly versatile, super duper fuel efficient, fun to drive, great safety ratings. 🙂
Yay! Seconded. My husband and I just got our very first new car, a 2008 Honda Fit Sport, and I love it. So much fun to drive, zippy, I can fit in most parking spots that American cars can only drool at, and efficient.

Well I've met people who when you ask "how many horses does your trailer fit?" and they reply "it depends!" geesh. The other day I was driving behind someone with a stock trailer and at first I thought there were 2 horses in it and then I saw another nose plus two more rumps! 5 horses all crammed in there, but they seemed to be just fine. Anywho, there is a whole range of 2 horse trailers that could be pulled by probably any truck. Right now, my mom has a three horse sundowner and a chevy suburban to pull it. I dream of someday having one of the nifty Brenderup trailers, the kind that is really popular in Europe because they can be pulled by normal SUVs, but alas, as with so many things in the horse world they are also quite spendy! I bet you'd be able to search around, local feed and tack stores, etc and find some used trailer options but I would definitely take someone with you who really knows trailers to look at it.
In other news: I've got a 2004 Honda Accord, manual transmission. 55,000 miles, good gas mileage and made the journey between Portland and LA about a dozen times during undergrad!
1991 Nissan Maxima. 168,000 miles or so. You know, my mom drove me to kindergarten in that car... crazy. It's had a few repairs but nothing over $300. I think my family (parents and then me) have gotten our money's worth outta that car.
Edit: Did I just win the oldest daily driver award?

2005 mini cooper s - just rolled over 50K. It makes me sad. 😳
👎 When I head to work I drive a 2001 Suzuki Esteem...no radio, no air-conditioning, power nothing, bumper is cracked and drags on the road occassionally, the trunk fills with water when it rains and I have to bail it out...oh and it has over 130,000 miles. I think it was a drug car or somethng before I got it 3 years ago...how else can I explain the miles on such a junky car??? But it gets great gas mileage and fits my dog!
When I go to school I hop on the COTA bus...route 18...to the vet school!

2001 Mazda Miata in Crystal Blue (Light metallic blue) with leather interior
LOVE that car! 😍
Not exactly practical for Ithaca though... haha

I just got a 2008 Ford Escape in April and I love it!! My old car was a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder, but it was hell to drive over the mountain passes in Washington so when I got into vet school my dad helped me get the Escape.

Hands down, you win the "ghetto car" division.
I had an old Toyota Corolla (early 1990's version) that I literally ran into the ground like that...😀
bike. very exciting.
Bikes (as in bicycles) are not just exciting---they're downright sexy!
Ride with pride, baby!

I'd like some meat and/or dairy goats and perhaps a few sheep and beef cattle eventually (just on a hobby basis and to feed us and the dogs with), so I was thinking a stock trailer may be the way to go. I've heard a lot of horses actually prefer loading on a stock trailer anyways. I've also thought about getting a dog trailer once I become truly crazy and have oh...15 dogs or so?
Something like this:http://www.customdogtrailers.com/gallery/gallery.asp?PG_CAT=1
I drive a sweet 1993 Acura Legend - she's in really good condition, considering! I wish I got better gas mileage, but at this age, I can't complain. I just had a friend help me replace a tail light and save me $450, suck on that auto body shops world wide!
'99 Accord V6 with ~95k miles on it ... that will be my transportation home on weekends.
During the week (in Davis), it will be a Raleigh Passage bicycle 🙂

2005 Chevy S-10 Pickup truck. Also, a bicycle whenever I can.

My trainer has a 2 horse bumper pull that has a small tack room in the front of it. She pulls it quite easily with her F-150.
I have the pleasure of driving a '97 Jeep Cherokee, pushing 120k. Travels well, but now it smells of cat pee, the liner is falling off, hay and sand keep appearing from a mysterious and unknown place, and part of fender is holding on with duct tape. = ) But I still love it and will miss it dearly when I move!

Me too! 🙂
Silver Lexus IS 300 with a beautifully dented bumper from 3 years ago when someone found it amusing to back into my car in the parking lot while I was in the grocery store...WooT! It has almost 90,000 miles on it and is in desperate need of an oil change. Thank goodness my summer classes end Thursday!
2007 GMC Envoy.... it is actively eating all my money in the form of gas, but i just can't bring myself to part with it.... yet
Be careful on Stewart Ave. in the winter...they don't heavily salt the roads...can you say miatatoboggan?![]()
Seriously! I live in the suburbs of Philly and that can be bad enough! I made sure to choose a place that was close to the TCAT line. I think I'll be bussing it most of the winter...
Mine is still the oldest. And it actually only had 153,000 miles... the dashboard unit containing the speedometer had to be replaced and that's the lowest mileage they could find - 18k over my actual miles. It has hail damage, door dings, and a nice smash on the passenger side rear door thanks to some idiot in a dorm parking lot (came out one day and it was like that). Seriously, no one here drives an older car? Ha, that probably means that no one has had their car paid off completely for like 10 years now, either. Woo!
We have a '01 ford windstar limited(79,000mi/16mpg, if I'm lucky), a '99 chevy suburban (114,000/18-21mpg [for some reason, people think it's more like 3mpg or something, but I do cry when I fill that bad boy all the way up to go visit relatives.]), and my dh's baby, a '96 mitsubishi eclipse spyder (150,000 mi/ i don't know 10mpg
. No, really, it get's like 22mpg, but the high dollar/grade stuff).
Yes, we have three cars. The baby doesn't go out of the garage after the first frost. My hubbie takes care of the payments and insurance for it. Besides, I like him, so I let him have his toys, sometimes. I figure this one has lasted a good 6-7years, it can last another 5 or so.
Let's face it, I'm a push over. I bought him a Schwinn stingray for his birthday. He's just a 12 year old at heart, anyway. 😍
