Ha! I am currently conducting a trial of long hair, and if it persists at an obviously in-between length by grad I am reverting.

I had long hair for a long time before I went short a year ago or so. I love these short showers and low maintenance - I don't think I can ever go back to long hair again! Though with it short it sticks up after I have been asleep. But nothing a little water can't fix. 🙂

Interesting...a picture thread...hmm...
BTW, I would never use actual real life pictures for comic purposes...I think that would be a bit too mean and personal. I would rather stick with using character analogies (e.g., star wars characters) for comics instead...the frivolity of these makeshift comics to begin with would be reflected in the ridiculousness the star wars character analogies themselves.
I've hung up the comic pen though. I think I did all I could and probably further comics would be seen as kinda old.

I got the same problem jeff2005. I don't have a pic of me on my computer. My pic may pop up on the Brigham path website sometime during the next several months (based on medical school location, it'll be obvious who I am since I'm the only one from Michigan to have matched there). My identity is shot to hell anyway, especially once the Match results from UMich are published online. But I just don't care.

Furthermore, the problem with the pic I sent you is that they have other people in it. And I don't feel comfortable posting pictures of other people on some forum without their knowledge.
No longer have it saved on the computer. The pictures were emailed to me from a friend who had a digital camera during the New Years Eve festivities. For a while the pic file was in a Temp folder but I regularly delete temp files and defrag my computer. That's the story and I'm sticking with it.beary said:

Yes - occasionally at our program we go and look at other program's websites and make fun of the other residents. We figure that people probably make fun of us, so why not.
My pic from the umich website is ok, I kind of look like I either had a stroke or I have a tumor behind one eye. Plus, my tie looks disheveled and I look about 10 years older than I actually am. But other than that, it's a fine pic. 🙄 They took them on orientation day and the lights were brighter than staring at the sun, so it was kind of hard to look really normal.

I try to sit up straight but I have a predisposition towards slouching. I think because I am tall. I try to correct it when I notice, but it doesn't always work. As for a tie tack, well, I don't think that would help a ton in this situation. I just have to make it straighter.
