I was trying to work on my ACGME survey. One of the questions is Since the beginning of the current academic year, have you ever taken in-house call? (Residents in their beginning year of training should not be assigned in-house call).

Is on-call on weekdays in-house call?

I think the survey's wording is incorrect because interns are allowed to do inhouse call provided it's not more than 16 hours and that they've made the transition from direct supervision to direct supervision available (or whatever the wording is). I don't know what that tells you for answering it, though.

I think you are right. ACGME tricked us . This could give an automatic citation to the program, if we put yes.

I find their wording confusing also, and even worse they don't explain it. Maybe they should say "unsupervised call" if that's what they really mean?
