I posted this in the allo forum but figured you guys can also give me some good advice since i am also a non trad

ok guys give it to me straight.

3.49 bcmp
3.47 overall gpa
ideally a 30 on the MCAT
environmental engineering cum laude
480 hrs + volunteering with county school systems.
6 months volunteering at free clinic
3.8 post bac gpa
would have taken genetics and biochem
florida resident
Immigrant ( moved here during h.s) dont knwo if any hispanic counts as URM
Fluent in spanish and 1 year of french
Undergraduate lab assistant for 1.5 yrs
1 publication
first place student design competition for state of florida (engineering)
I compete in national design competition this fall
a few scholarships
various professional student associations and leadership in one for one year

I am extreamly worried. My gpa was better but a B- in calc 3 and C+ in diff eq brought me down from a 3.6. My goal is to stay in Florida and hopefully FSU. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated

Your numbers and ECs are fine.

Everybody in this process is extremely worried. Less than half of applicants get in, and it's completely subjective. People with great numbers and ECs don't get in; people with crappy numbers and minimal ECs do. Welcome to American Idol.

Kill your MCAT. Get your app done. Just do it. Worrying is a total waste of time and energy.

Sound advice. And yet elusive to my mind. The constant planning and calculating...what if this?...what if that?....

I wish I had a reset button on my forehead.
