Let me preface this by saying I am not trying to lie on my application about criminal history, nor do I even have a criminal history.
I just wanted to know, does the background check schools run on candidates show things like the employment history of family members? Or anything about family members? Without getting into detail, I just didn't feel comfortable listing the occupation of one of my parents on my app, so I left it as "unemployed" for said parent. I was not trying to gain any sort of advantage in admission, I simply did not want to list it. It has nothing to do with criminality, I am just worried that the absence of this detail on my app might hurt me if this is revealed in a background check.
