What does a D.S. degree stand for?

What do D.S. stand for behind someones name and what does AIYS stand for? Basicly I'm tryin to figure out what this ladies credentials are http://www.veganforum.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-258.html

My guess is AIYS is the American Institute for Yoga Studies and not the American Institute for Yemeni Studies.

As for the DS degree, maybe Dietary Science? Never heard of it.

I don't know what AIYS stands for, but I am working with a couple D.S. out of Russia. D.S. stands for Doctor of Science and is the highest science degree you can achieve in Russia. I don't know if that's the degree this lady is claiming to have because the rest of her credentials seem a little weird.

Interestingly, if you do a search on google for "AIYS Dip Irid -Shaw" there's only one result, some guy with AIYS(Dip.NuTh).

Now I'm curious. I'm guessing Dip.NuTh means Diploma in Nutritional Therapy but I have no idea what Dip Irid stands for.

D.S. = Doctor of Science. In many parts of the world, the degree is entirely honorary, bestowed upon an individual for their collective publications, and usually by the individuals alma mater.
