What does it mean when it says "repeated?" under work and activities for AMCAS?

I posted a volunteer activity that did over the course of a few years and I listed the total hours. However, under repeated it tells me to list up to 3 times if I repeated this activity more than once. What should I put? Sorry if the answer is obvious. Im just getting paranoid

If it's the same as last year there's a numeric limit to the number of hours you can enter, and the repeating function is to let you enter more hours if the total time you spent on that activity exceeds the *****ically low limit they coded into the hours entry field. It's less likely to come up with normal college activities but it was a PITA calculating out how to enter in the hours for my full time jobs when I applied last year.

You would use the Repeated option if you had volunteered only during the academic year and not during the summer, so you could list the date span of continuous involvement for each year. Or you could use to to separate out current hours of involvement vs future hours of anticipated involvement.

Last season one was limited to 999 hours for each time span. This year it's been increased to 99,999 so folks won't have the same problem listing employment. They probably got tired of the constant inquiries on how to list substantial activity hours, even though their solutionwas discussed in the FAQ..
