... after your interview a school states that you will be given a second review when all other applicants are considered. This, of course, means no waitlist at time.

To me the whole thing read like a Dear John letter, but I'm wondering if that is truly the case.

Anyone have experience with this?

heyy phat 😀 no... but, it does sound some what identical to a "hold", in the app evaluation process eh? oh well, i hope things turn out of the better nonetheless and good luck! with that bro...😉

I got the same notification from a school, and the admissions director said they put a 'hold' on my app and he said everytime they had another interview session, they would pull my application out (and all of the others in the same boat as me), review the applications and he said if anything changed, he would let me know. I am assuming the situation will be similar for you? Hope this helped. 😀

Kinda, but they said it won't be reviewed until all other apps have been.

they just want to look at "all other applicants" before they consider yours i guess... you are not rejected yet, so you are still in it to win it, good luck

they do rolling admission

I don't have experience with this so this is only a guess. It sounds like you didn't meet the criteria for admissions right now and they are leaving their options open. They could always accept you later down the road but you will be in a pile with all the other applicants when your chances are lower. It still might work out for you but this obviously isn't a good sign.

Your application is incomplete would be my best guess. That happened to one of my friends who applied to a summer session for pharmacy and he was rolled into the fall applicants.
