In a few released papers there are a few questions with "Item not scored" printed across it.

Can anybody please tell me what does that indicate and does it even tiny bit affect the total score?

OR is it something like....

The student did not attempt the question or there is something wrong with the question and all the test takers get that point??

Thanks in advance,

Ct😕

I suppose the ADA found that the question was not well written, that could cause confusion or be misinterpreted so they annuled it and will not count on the final score....

i read somewhere about it but donot remember where:
item not scored means that the question is there not to be scored on that test date
so it doesnot matter whether u got it wrong or right
but its included to test the difficulty of the particular question by finding out how many examinee answered the question right
so accordingly it is included in the following tests
if many got wrong then its excluded
kind of a study i think🙂

Thank you for your post ppl.......
well at least I am relieved that its not something that I should be worried of🙂

may they have many of these in Biochem and remove the subject entirely from Boards😉

^^^this is what happens when ppl start studying ^^^^^^

no more confused @ this........thanks👍
