What does Phramcy Practice entail?

I was looking into specialties in pharmacy. I find myself becoming more and more interested in my psychology classes in school and i'm wondering how it could apply to Pharmacy. In a pharmacy practice do you have more patient interaction? Would you act in a way a Physician would but with more drug expertise? In the case of Psychiatry would one act as a primary counselor or therapist or just be responsible for prescribing and drug therapy?
