I just got back from a 1/25/06 interview with NYCOM. I felt the interview went very well and it was very low stress. The interviewer made it a point to make it seem informal. However after seeing that some people get rejected following a good interview, I am wondering how much the interview really counts. My interviewer said a lot of good things about my application and said I seemed to be more "complete" than others. I am coming in with a low MCAT (low 20s) and am wondering if I still have a shot to get into NYCOM. My GPA is sci 3.69 and overall 3.75. So how much does the interview matter?

Thanks,

Wow, i think that is the most promising post I have ever read on SDN. I am a very similar candidate, and its comforting to see that you got in. What date did you interivew? Did you any of your interview with an NJ ER doctor? When you say about 2 weeks, did you call or thats when your letter arrived?
