anyone really know what this email means?

i think it means i'm on hold, since waitlisted occurs once you have already been interviewed, right?
and so of course my next question, is...does this mean i've basically been handed a prolonged rejection? or will they just interview me if needed or for the waitlist or something?
can anyone shed some light on this?

sounds like a pre-interview hold. i wouldn't loose hope though... it sounds like a lot of schools that are not usually people's top choices have a lot of movement in may/june. good luck.

subtle1 - did you email them, or did they send you this out of the blue? I have been complete at Drexel for a long time, and I haven't heard anything - any emails I have sent appear to have gone into the abyss...

how did you manage to get something out of them???!
