NJ i think rejected me🙁...they cant offer me an interview now but will reconsider application at a later date if i would like??? what does this mean rejection and no chance? or they wanna know if still interested?? rejection or mind game?? lol has someone gotten an interview lately?...also im 3.5 and 22AA maybe my app got completed too late, but other schools have shown interest. so wtf

first off, take a deep a breath.
i think NJ is trying get rid of unwilling applicants at this time before they reconsider for another round of interview invites.

DEF say you would like them to reconsider your application. That means they will keep you in the pool and you'll still get a chance at an interview there.

keep your head up, this is my 2nd time applying. you have to go with the flow, and be prepared for the worst.

I received the same email today. I agree with the previous post that they are trying to weed out applicants who are using their school as a safety school. I have seen a rejection letter from UMDNJ and it very clearly states you are rejected.

Ya I agree with the above posters and my stats are similar to yours, and i just received the same email today too. However...if I get into my top choice by the end of the week I probably won't reply to them. I understand how they want to weed out people using the school as a safety (and I actually wasn't using it as a safety and would consider attending) but w/e!

I got the same email. I am so devastated right now because it is my number one choice.🙁 I REALLY wanna stay in NJ. But I am trying to prepare for the worst.

When do you think they might reconsider our application?

WOW! That is unbelievable. This whole process is such a mystery to me.

With those stats, you should definitely get in somewhere though.
