What does YOUR average day like?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I'm a sophomore with a 3.99/4.00 cum GPA and a 4.0/4.0 science GPA with enough credits and upper-level coursework to be a senior. I definitely have to put in some effort to get excellent grades as grade deflation, arbitrary curving, and psychopathic lab TAs are very real problems at my college. That said, I don't work nearly as hard now as I did in high school.

I really wonder, do you actually enjoy life? I don't mean it wrong, because you seem to absolutely love the work life, but do you ever stop and slow things down and just enjoy living?

Average day during winter break: Wake up at 11, proceed to watch TV, go to bed at 2.
Awwwwwwwwww yeaaaaaaaah.

Mine is more like wake up at 3PM, proceed to play Xbox and eat delicious snacks, go to bed at 5.

Since graduating earlier this May, it's mostly been
9:00 wake-up drive to work
9:30-5:30 work
5:30-6:00 drive home half-asleep
6:00-7:00 eat, poop, shower
7:00-8:00 relax, do nothing
8:00-10:00 AMCAS
10:00-11:00 Asian Dramas
11:00-9:00 Sleep

Weekends: Halo:meanie:

Right now it's winter break so my day involves working (I'm casual so it may be morning or evening shift), studying for a couple of hours for the MCAT, playing with my cat and enjoying my days! In a couple of weeks it'll look more like this:

Mondays: in class from 8:30am-noon...have lunch and study until 3:30pm...karate from 4:00pm-5:00pm...dinner and relaxing for the rest of the evening until 9:30pm when I go to bed (I need sleep haha)

Tuesdays: in clinicals from 7:00am-12:30pm...in class from 1:30-6:30pm...nothing but dinner, studying and relaxing until bed

Wednesdays: in clinicals and class from 7:00am-3:30pm...karate from 4:00-5:00pm...dinner, studying and relaxing until bed

Thursdays: class 8:30-10:30am...grocery shopping...volunteering with Big Sisters from noon-1:30pm...studying...volunteering with Salvation Army 5:30-7:00pm...dinner, studying and relaxing

Fridays: in class 8:30am-3:30pm...finish homework and studying before the weekend comes!

Saturdays: work 8 hours and party

Sundays: recover and prepare for another week 🙂 likely go cross-country skiing or kayaking, weather-dependent!
