Jeez... I am sure there are med students out there who got into med school with a 2.8-2.9 and will be making over 100k and up. Wherever you go for DPT and graduate, you will basically start with 55-60k or even less.
I went to University of Pittsburgh's open house last year. The presenter told us that to be competitive in the admissions process, you will need at least a 3.3. BUT, if I remember correctly, the average GPA of the last class got in was like 3.6. I love PT and everything, but GPA requirements are just too high. I applied to 4 schools with a GPA of 3.02 (NO, Pitts not one of them 🙂) and I hope to get admitted into one of them.
