I'm currently in Pharmacology/Toxicology and Graduate in 2011. I volunteer at a hospital/Med School and also trying to shadow a few doctors there. I have research experience and lab experience, over 500 hours and GREAT LOR. I am taking the MCAT this February. My GPA is a 3.2, because I am involved in numerous organizations on campus and Elected President of My Fraternity. I also have a part-time job while going to school, so I am very busy.

Anything else that I can do to help me get into MED school?

Your cGPA is well below the median for those accepted to MD schools of 3.65. It's also lower than the DO median of 3.45. I'd say you need to prioritize to getting straight As to raise your GPA and cut down on some of your ECs. If you can pull off great grades for the next two years, you GPA could potentially rise to 3.6.

Thnks for the response, Do you think that will be enough to get in or am I introuble?

Going from a 3.2 to a 3.6? Sorry for asking, but how did you come up with that number?

This is my rough estimate,, arrived at as follows: If the OP graduates in 2011, presumably he/she is a rising junior with about 60 credit hours so far, and needs 60 more to graduate at most schools. With a 3.2 for 60 credits and a 4.0 for 60 more, the cGPA would average out to 3.6 (making some assumptions about average hours earned and needed to graduate). It would be a huge advantage to wait until graduation to apply, as a 3.46 would be the best GPA possible with straight As by the end of junior year.
