My Resume after sophomore year will look like:

-GPA: 3.976 cGPA; 4.000 sGPA -- overall might be tanking a bit after finals.
-Volunteer at two hospitals (one of them is university affiliated; and one i got clinical experience from)
-1 year research (3 years before graduation) - getting two publications within the next year.
-1 summer SURF program in neuroscience
-Premed and ethnic club participant
-Recipient of few scholarships


I'm guessing this aspect of my resume seems pretty solid, but I lack important leadership and more clinical aspects. Assuming this is how I continue until I finalize my med school application, will I have a chance of getting into a top 50 school?

I'm considering being a Supplemental Instruction Leader for Bio I&II or Organic. Would that constitute as leadership?

Wow, very impressive! Assuming that you do well on the MCAT, you should have no problem getting into a good medical school.

it definitely seems like you are on the right track (not that you were asking for approval)

just to tie your application together i would expand upon an activity that is uniquely you. club sports, an instrument, anything you really enjoy
