I know this is a stupid question, but I'm a new applicant. I decided to use Interfolio instead of my committee and I was wondering what exactly are the steps for me to take to make sure I get my LORs written on a letterhead. Also, is it a good idea to use Interfolio instead?

I am using interfolio and am also curious about this.

What's with the sudden obsession with letterheads?

Most professors will likely know that it has to be on a letterhead, but feel free to clarify that point with your writer.

I used interfolio, but I used it for my first cycle before they had the AMCAS letter service, and I bought a 5-year account. I used it to upload my letters to AMCAS and haven't touched it since. It's nice to gather your letters, or to save them if you don't get in, but whether or not it's worth it is up to you.

Just ask them to put it on letterhead, they probably have a program than can automatically put anything they type onto a letter head with a digital signature.

If you don't know, by letterhead they mean something that looks like this
