Hello all,
I'm a Senior in undergrad and about to have a gap year - I'm reapplying to schools & retaking my DAT in May before I apply. (3.26 gpa, 18 AA; hoping to raise that DAT). But in the meantime I'm also looking for something to do in my year while I wait to hear back (and hopefully accepted somewhere).
If anyone else took or had to have a gap year - what job did you find? I have years of DA experience as well as shadowing already, and do have an opportunity to work as a Ortho Assistant but since I'm graduating with a Bachelors now, I'd like to find something that also pays more than $15/ hour (not just for the pride of getting Bachelors level salary, but also because I need to save up money to then live off of for a while depending on where Dental School is, as well as pay bills). I'm looking at all sorts of jobs in different fields. My major was Interdepartmental Studies so I dabbled in just about every major field. I'd like to hear input of anyone's job experience, and get a better sense of where to look for one, and best spend my year.
