hahaha...but all laughs aside...

I think we should re-name mydat the "sdn phantom." That vanishing act was creepy. He/she just said you won't see me again...then all trace of him/her vanished into thin air. No posts by mydat can be found....it's like....he/she never existed!

Bio : used the cliff's AP intensively. didn't have much time for the destroyer, so I only did like 5 pages of it right before the test. Kaplan and Cliff's will cover pretty much 95% of the material (but kaplan alone isn't good.). The rest of 5% is from nowhere.Had the Schaum's bio outline too, but didn't even open the book as cliff was enough for me.

Chem and Ochem: Kaplan Blue book does the job for you. There won't be anything that isn't covered in the Blue book. Didn't have the time for the destroyer but I have read some part of its solutions and it looks good.


RC: I have no clue how I have gotten the 22. The problems were weird - they ask you stuff like "what would the author agree with?" or "The author would most likely respond like" type of questions. I had about 1/3 of this section filled with this odd questions. You really need to read the passage carefully. Skimming doesn't work for these questions.

QR: Used GRE math book (the official guide for the GRE). But 50% of them are word problems, so I would mainly focus on them. Didn't have any probability question. No weird trig questions either.

PAT: Angle was hard, just like everyone said. About 1/3 of the angle problems are almost impossible. Seems like I got most of my guesses correct. But the cube counting was a joke.

Also, I have a 3.9 GPA from UCLA. I have applied to PENN, Columbia, UCLA, USC, UCSF, NYU, and BU. For which school would you say I have a decent shot?

How come all his posts disappeared? Posts don't just vanish on SDN....if something gets out of hand the thread gets closed or someone gets banned...but we can always trace that...hmmm???

Seriously...I'm starting to think mydat is the tortured soul of someone who commited suicide over the DAT or something. Either that or he's in the witness protection program or something. Maybe the "cheating plot" he stumbled upon was some kind of operation run by an organized crime syndacite. mydat tried to capitalize financially with the information he knew...however, he was found out quickly and the plan blew up in his face.
