Seems like in the past few years, otomatch has evolved into almost exclusively a residency applicant messageboard. This page definitely appears to get a lot more traffic, especially in the non-interview season.

I agree with the heightened discussion on otomatch.com around application time. I also think that the place turned into a place for people to brag (or lie) about their USMLE scores, publications, grades, etc. After I heard about people taking advantage of other people by calling up programs and posing as others, I just came to the conclusion that the forum was tainted beyond repair. Besides, they used to have many more discussion boards. Now: gone.
