What happened to that thread about the key-chain thrower . . .?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.

Where the kid bragged to have "pwned" an obnoxious freshman premed (who dissed SDN) by reporting her to the university for tossing a key chain at him and we told him he was screwed for being a power-mad, poor judgement loser who was going to get his own record screwed for spiteful, immature action? And never get into med school as result.

The thread disappeared. I know mods can close or move a thread but can they make it go away? Why would he be entitled to such favored treatment just cuz he put himself in a terrible situation?

Donors can delete their own posts. If you delete post #1 in a thread the whole thread goes *poof*.

That doesn't seem fair. People should be held responsible for their actions.

I harshed on him pretty good, but if he deleted it, it means he realized that his actions weren't universally approved and now wants to move on. Lesson learned.

But we don't know if he rectified the situation by withdrawing the complaint against the freshman. Just deleting the SDN thread shows he is embarrassed by his own SDN actions, but not that he did anything about it in "real life."

I want proof that he fixed this thing. I really feel for this freshman who has been at college for like 2 days and she gets hit with this. Could really affect her in a variety of ways. He needs to make this right.

To Mr. Key Chain Wimp: Did you fix this!!!???

I don't think it's anyone's place to rehash the story in an effort to "make him pay." Obviously he went to a certain effort to remove it and rectify his actions (we don't know how else he may have done to rectify the situation with the student). Just like it's not his place to make sure schools know that girl's annoying, it's not our duty to make sure "he never gets in anywhere."

Seems a little hypocritical to post it back up if you didn't like that he actually reported the pre-med. Just my opinion.

That story was awesome. Perhaps not something you would post on SDN, but definitely something I would share with my friends. People like that deserve to feel the pimp hand.

I support that some kids need a wake up call. Honestly though I think the OP is much more likely to get disciplined over what he did than the girl, which sucks because it reinforces that girls superiority complex.

OK, not sure "hypocritical" is the right word, but I get it. He has suffered enough.

I'll delete the story.
