I was about to add a post and the forum gave me an error message. Then I went back to the main psychiatry page and the post is totally gone.

Were there any responses? I only saw the opening post yesterday. It looked like it had promise. Naturally, I'm certain people either did, or would have, come out of the woodwork to defend 'the system.'

I am glad we have residency. There is so much midlevel fields don't know because they do abbreviated and sometimes even unaccredited training and then set up a private practice. I am glad about my experiences and I did more than one residency!
If he doesn't like residency he can go to Missouri and practice without residency.

You can apparently practice psychiatry in Virginia with no residency training as well.
