What happened to the old interview feedback?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I used to like to look at all the stuff from the current year cycle, but now it's just one big list in survey form.

I forgot they changed it. I just looked at it for the first time and I hated it until I got all the way through it. I love the new layout! Its much easier to get a general understanding of the school. Love the graphs and percentages like any pre-med nerd. The responses are all still there, you just get to see them all at once rather than going in and out and back into (oops the same one, back out again) threads.

i like how the responses are combined, which makes it easier, but i question the practicality of the pie graphs; it seems to just make everything unnecessarily convoluted.

Don't forget to leave your interview feedback (pre-meds) and/or a review of your school (med students and above). We're really hoping the new database can help people actually make informed choices on which schools to choose instead of just going by mission statements and the sunny sides presented during interview day.

I mean it's great that it's all together, but I liked seeing the individual entries for more relevant and recent data. I don't want to go through 25 answers of "None" or "Why do you want to be a doctor?" for "What was the most difficult question?"

The old format is much better pertaining to preparing for interviews, you get to see the most recent interview questions and how each interview seems to flow.

The new format is better for just understanding the general feeling that interviewees have towards the schools becuase the graphical analysis are very useful for that.

You can still view it in that format here:

Is that going to stay around for a while?

I agree with this. If there was a way to sort of filter out "non-helpful" answers and maybe list most recent responses first or something.

Of course, I'm not volunteering for that job 😀 Thats why we should all donate to help fund SDN. 😛

The new format for my state school was disappointing. Much of the information was outdated. Most of the concerns voiced were old facilities and need updating, when in fact the description of the facilities were pertaining to two or more years ago. The facilities were updated two years ago and are very impressing. Very hard to pick out new and relevant info from the new format

Well, I won't, personally ( I wish I had that kind of computer savvy 😛), but the form is definitely still plastic. If you find any other glaring design issues, speak up now.

I personally like the new layout. My only issues would be someway to make recent data either first in the list, more "relevant" or something.

Also noticed the "school reviews" are not links yet (I know there aren't many), UTMB has one, but can't access it. Thought I would bring that to someones attention too.

Really like the new look though, thanks!!

Teh new design is great, imo, but it would be better if it had the added functionality of knowing when each comment is from. The way it is now, there's no way to know if the comments/questions are from 2010 or 2002.

Thanks. 🙂
