What do they do during LOR verification? do they actually contact the professors and make sure they are the one who wrote the LOR? What happens afterwards?

I don't think any school would have the time to contact each applicants LOR writers. What happens afterwards? You submit them and you never hear anything about them again aside from that they were received on AADSAS. Don't lie because if something is suspicious and they do call, your chances would be shot... maybe forever... that's unlikely though.

The DDS that wrote my LOR said "I wrote 150 hours even though you only spent 80 observing." I said, well I appreciate that but it doesn't correspond with what I already submitted stating 80 so can you please change it? He did.

would it be good to get one from a dds, so far i have only gotten it from my professors.
3 science which i know are strong ones.

a little off topic....but how long does it take for them to process LOR?? My LORs have been "pending" for 2 weeks and I know the evaluators have already submitted them electronically...
