What happens to our application folder after we are accepted and matriculating at med school? Will anyone EVER look at it again?

They should return them to us during the graduation ceremony. I'd be curious to see the notes/comments made on it.

Our school said that it will be included in our applications too residency programs.
Since applying to residency programs is pretty standard its pretty likely that most if not all schools will do this. But I'm just speculating on that last point.

Unless you are applying for residency programs outside the United States, your medical school application is NOT included in your residency. In this country, most residency programs use ERAS or SF applications which do not ask for your medical school application.

Yeah I was told that even for the medical license process only academics and work completed since the beginning of medical school is verified.
