I took august 2010 PCAT and ive got 95% composite.
However, my gpa is really low (3.2) and got C on both orgo 1 and 2
and other pre reqs gpa is around 3.0. (I'm in biochemical engineering)
Im graduating on this year there is no way to raise up my gpa other than staying in school one more yr.
Should i delay my graduation or just apply now.
Thank you!

that's a great pcat score😀
i know a pharmacist who had a C average got a 90 on his pcat and was accepted into UIC. i know he failed organic chem the 1st time around, but i don't know how he did when he retook it or what his LORs and extracurricular activities were. If the rest of your application is strong i would give it a try.....but i'm still new to this so hopefully someone w/ more experience could give some advice...

I think you should apply now. I e-submitted 9/28 and got verified 10/4. I felt like I was kind of later than eveyrone else, but they did it quick. The pharmCAS site said busy season you might have to wait up to 5 weeks so I was shocked i already got an email saying they're sending mine out on monday. That 95% composite will look great and I'm sure biochem major is no joke.

I would graduate: the degree will help too if there's some random elective classes you don't have, some schools let a degree bypass you from those. And in all honesty a C is average and it's ok to be average in a very hard class. And 3.2 isn't really low either so we know you don't have all Cs (which would be bad). You'd be more worked up if you were under 3.0 (I feel so bad for those people!).

What schools have you thought about? If you don't have most of the pre reqs done you might be forced to wait to apply. I decided on pharmacy 100% after I got my degree so I had to use school's pre req lists to figure out where to apply.

I heard directly from a Texas Pharmacy school recruiter that a 3.2 with a well-rounded app. was an almost guaranteed interview. You should go ahead and apply. Do you have any work experience?

Thank you for all the answers.
I have no direct work experience to pharamcy, but i worked in cancer research lab in UMDNJ during the summer.
I wasn't planning to apply this year so i was gonna work in local pharmacy next year.
