What if you accept???

So.. I just received an acceptance letter from Touro Nevada DPT.. and am really excited to have gotten in to my backup school, but what happens if I accept??

I am really waiting for a couple of other responses, but I'm afraid that if I accept, somehow, the other schools will see that acceptance and will no longer consider me an applicant. Anyone know anything about this..?

(The thousand dollars is a steep deposit, but I'm willing to pay it for a backup?? Just wanna make sure I don't jeopardize going to another school)

PTCAS says that other schools can see where you have been accepted but every school I have asked about this says it has no weight in their decision. They realize that people have a very limited time to put down deposits and that is not a guarantee of attendance. I think if anything schools do it so they can rake in some extra cash... I had to put down $1000 for a school and I still have interviews coming up... feels like robbery!!!

I will PM you what I know. Schools can't see your acceptances- in March there will be a posting PTCAS as to acceptances but they won't post the school.

2. The institution shares the applicant with another PTCAS institution in which an offer of admission was made or an offer of admission was accepted.
