What if you get accepted RIGHT before orientation?!?!?!

So...as I wait on the 5 waitlists I am contemplating this scenario: I get a call August 18 that I have been accepted to a school and I have to be there on August 20.

What would you do?? Right now I have a lease and a job. Of course I would chuck it all and head to that school the next day...but I have seen that people have deferred until the following year.

I guess I am lucky in that 2 of my schools are in my homestate, not too far from my parents' house, 1 school is where my roommate is going and she'd let me bunk for a whie, 1 school is practically in my backyard, but if I get into EVMS the day before classes start I am screwed.

Any current students who were in that situation in yrs past?? Curious how you handled it.

if you were the last one to get in off the waitlist at VCU/MCV, you would get a full scholarship......how neat is that? good luck....i'm sure it'll all work out.
