What if I take my fourth and fifth year of undergrad to finish my pre-pharm classes, while finishing up my undergrad degree in business. I have decided that I definitely don't want to do business, I want to enter the pharmacy profession. But sometimes I wonder what will happen if I don't get into a pharmacy school. I honestly feel like my life is over. I like to think positively but sometimes I can't help but wonder...What will I do if I don't get in? Is my life over? Because for me, for various reasons, getting into pharmacy school is life or death.

As long as you stand your ground with hard work and determination you will get in. Pharmacy schools look for diverse applications. Try to highlight your strongpoints and show a strong understanding of the profession.

Just make yourself visible and show genuine interest in the profession, and the rest will fall into place.

It shouldn't be a matter of life or death. The competitiveness for pharmacy school is more hype than reality. As long as you keep trying, they will take notice, and give merit on that basis.

Good Luck

I think having your business degree is a plus for pharmacy. It would be easy for you to get the PharmD/MBA joint degree. That would be a great combo for pharmacy management.

Don't worry about not getting in. I don't think that you will have any problems.
