In general, how are the interviews run?

What information do your interviewers likely to have?

1) Blind interview. The interviewer is not allowed to view your application. Scoring is based solely on the interview.

2) Interviewer is given info on extracurricular activities, research, dean's letter. But they do not have your transcript or board score's. Therefore, it would be unlikely for the interviewer to have a biased view based on your academic performance.

3) Interviewer has all your info in front of them.

They "have" everything, usually your entire ERAS packet including MSPE, LORs, CV and PS. What they've looked at varies widely from glancing at your name on the folder as you walk in the door to a rather lengthy dissection of it and questions about things you thought were kind of throw-away on your CV. Prepare for the latter but don't be surprised if you get more like the former.
