I am trying to figure out how high my math score on the GRE should be in order to be competitive for a post-bac program. Any ideas? What is a good score, what is an excellent score? (ie what score would be so fab that they would look past everything else?) I exceed the GPA minimum, but I am just one of many people applying; I want to stand out.

Mills has a great program, and they're definitely looking for people that they believe can succeed in their program AND get into medical school. you say that you have an okay GPA, go with that. they had a three part essay on the application for this current school year. use that to really tell them why they should let you into their program. i'm not sure if you already took the GRE and how you did, but the personal statement-esque part of the application is another way to really stand out.

just thoughts...

Mills won't take students that they don't believe will get into medical school...which means if you have below a 3.0 it may be really hard to get into their program no matter what your GRE scores are. The program is expensive and the school is trying to be ethical by not stealing your money if they don't think you have a shot. Honestly, I didn't even take the GRE, I just used my SAT scores (1130), and I got in... PM me if you have any other questions about the program or admissions.
