I understand that cell to cell fusion is required for devvelopment & homeostatiss and can also play a role in cancer and tissue repair. But what exactly is cell to cell fusion? I can't find the answer on the net. Help!

When i think of cell to cell fusion, I think that 2 cell fuses together.. lol
