Really, anything before the August MCATers is considered early. That being said, get your stuff in ASAP.

I agree on both. You can start working on your PS now no matter when you plan to apply. The first batch of interviews(september interviews) usually goes to those that apply June/July.

Get your AACOMAS in the first day of June. Secondaries will arrive July/August and later. Send them in the day after you receive them, and you'll be golden! I sent all of mine either express mail(overnight) or priority (3 days). Expensive, but less expensive than reapplying the following year!
