What would be considered as average applicant?

Personally, I would say thats average. 21 on DAT is a pretty good score for this cycle, although the 3.2 GPA is on the lower side of things.

I think the higher DAT and lower GPA even out... So yes, in my opinion that is an average applicant...

Below average would be 3.2 with less than 18s on the DAT

Above average would be 3.2 and say 23 or higher on DAT.

I think it also depends on your definition of "average."

If you are talking about the average in terms of acceptees', then its probably around airsimons stat.

If you are talking about average in terms of total applicants. I think the GPA is somewhere around 3.0-3.1, and the DAT is 16-17, based on what the official guide to dental schools.
