Just wondering what is considered early this year for having all secondaries submitted, since the time frame for verification is different than previous years.

Also, is there a big lag between having all secondaries/letters submitted and being marked complete? Thanks!

Schools probably don't care about verification times being slow. I can almost guarantee it'll go just as fast as always secondary-wise.

I think July turn-ins for Secondaries would be 'early', after that is 'average' up until probably October, and during/after that would probably be considered 'late'.

Keep in mind, every school is different. For example, I know UMN-TC and UND both are extremely slow with secondaries, interviews, and acceptances. November could even be considered 'average' for them.

Just do a good job, get them in as you can.

My letters won't be in til mid-August. Kind of nervous now 🙁

With schools not sending secondaries until June 29th at the earliest this year, I would say you are still relatively early if you get them in mid-August.

I agree with the earlier post that each school is different. Some schools still haven't sent out secondaries and it's almost August, so a July completion at those schools is out of the question. As long as you complete the secondaries in a timely manner (<2 weeks in my opinion), you should be fine.

I'm going crazy waiting for AMCAS verification. Schools haven't sent out secondaries? I've gotten a few already without being verified. So I'm not considered "late" yet?

Try and get them in within 2 weeks of receiving them. Other than that, don't worry about it. Comparing yourself will do nothing but cause anxiety to build up.
