Then the main essay question asked:
14. Type a statement setting forth the key motivational factors in your decision to apply to Morehouse and any information about yourself you feel would be of interest to the Committee on Admission in the consideration of your application. Please keep the response to about one page. (You may want to type your answer in a Word Processor while you are off-line and paste your response here)

The only one that is throwing me off is (c). Honestly, I plan on spending 90% of my time practicing medicine. Im not really into teaching or administration. I could see myself doing a little research. I realize they will use these answers to screen applicants. So what are they looking for?

Wow...same questions from when I applied 5 years ago. So I answered that question as like 45% practicing medicine, 45% patients, and 5% each for the others. Spoke some stuff about how I felt half of medicine was educating the pt and such for a collaborative health care partnership (really was optimistic back then). I thought it was pretty good and one of my interviewers commented on it positively. I got waitlisted with them and withdrew early on after I got in some other places that were higher up on my list but it got me an interview. Ultimately, I think they are looking for originality that dovetails with your personal philosophy of medicine. Decide what your vision is and answer the question accordingly.
