Does it just mean first year, second year, and so on? Or is there more to it?

Thanks! Also, how are these years different from each other. For example, when does it go from theory to application?

You should look at the curricula on each pharmacy school's website 🙂

Can you please explain to me what rotations is?

Wow. Thanks. After skimming over the sticky, I kicked myself for being unaware of it's existence. It has all the information that a pre-pharm could possibly need, gathered into one convenient thread. Unfortunately, nothing was mentioned about rotations, possibly because it doesn't have immediate pre-pharmacy relevance. But still, thanks for bringing my attention to it - I could use it.

Sure, there is one in the pharmacy section as well (FAQ). Rotations (or more properly APPEs) are something you do in your last year where you pay tuition to your school but they have you go out and work in pharmacies (you do not get paid). You get credit/experience for them. I actually have a thread where I discuss my experiences so far. Search "Rotation Experiences" or something like that. 🙂
