What is the best micro resource for my bugs and drugs hour at night?

FA is about as concise as you can get and all the information you need to know is in there somewhere. Maybe read/memorize two pages each night?

I have only just started, but I am currently using FA supplemented with micro MRS. Do you know of any flash cards that are a good review without being too detailed?

I like the Lippincott Microcards. Some of the cards seemingly have a bit too much detail, but what I like about them is that on the front of each card is a short little clinical vignette

My vote is for Rapid Review Microbiology, I used this book in class and it was awesome, great charts and diagrams, and a really good high yield section in the back, pretty easy read as well. I HATED CMMRS.. it's way too gimmicky.

First aid + Q-bank/UW are enough. If you want variety, you can read the 40 pages (or so) summary at the end of Lange's.

Rosenthal micro cards. 😀👍

Loved MicroCards.

Also loved having a "drugs and bugs" hour...worked very well for me.

Could you explain what you did here...?

Did you make up your own flash cards, did you have pharm cards as well or did you write the DOC for each bug on the microcards?

I didn't do "bugs and drugs" together. I just blocked out an hour each day to study one, the other, or both.

I made pharmacology flashcards and I bought the MicroCards.
