What is the best way to use full length practice tests?

I have been studying 6-8 hours a day for the last 5 weeks, but have not taken any practice tests yet. When/how are the best strategies for using practice tests?

What practice tests are closest to the actual test?

DAT Bootcamp has 5 really good practice tests you can take. Also, the 2007 and 2009 DAT is available online. All of those should be able to give you a good idea of where you are. Good luck!

Definitely try to mimic the test taking environment, i.e. quiet, well lit, etc. and have a stopwatch handy if you aren't using a program that automatically times each section.
