best guess I have is a ball valving lingual thyroid, but it could any number of cystic anomalies as well--certainly looks more cystic than anything. Cool clip

we had something similar to this recently (minus the cool preop clip). did a transoral laser excision. path showed an epithelial-lined cyst. our best guess is an intraoral thyroglossal duct cyst. on imaging and during resection it seemed to originate near the foramen cecum without any significant extension down into the neck.
