What's the difference between Primary Care Internal Med and Categorial Internal Med?

Why don't you ask in the IM forum.

Both are 3 year tracks, the difference is that you have extra clinic days, more ambulatory rotations and sometimes less ICU time. The idea is that the primary care internist doesn't do a fellowship and rather goes into practice right after residency.
