Is the fellowship training the same?
Are there separate pain fellowships just for PM&R vs anesthesia?
Do these two fields of specialties do the same things/procedures after a pain fellowship?
Is it easier to match into a pain fellowship with anesthesia?
In general, would the compensation be greater for a PM&R or anesthesiologist post pain fellowship?

Really interested in pain medicine, but wondering which path (PM&R vs anesth) to choose...

thanks :)

Really this topic has been discussed ad nauseum on this forum and just do a quick search and you will have your answers. My recommendation is to pick the field of medicine you like the most and maximize your exposure to pain medicine within that field.
