Hi Everyone!

I was told to view the Line of Symmetry method that was posted by xJtrandx a while ago but it appears that the video has been removed.

Do any of you have another link that shows the same method? Or can any of you please explain it?

Ari also refers to it in his hole punching video and his 10 week schedule but it's been removed 🙁

Any links or explanations would be truly appreciated! Thank you!

Obsolete. Which is to say, the test writers corrected the PAT so line of symmetry no longer works.

Not entirely, if you're speedy I would try it on each question first to test whether it will work, and if it does it's very useful and efficient, definitely helped me. OP, I'll search around for it later, but in the meantime just try digging around YouTube for it.

I searched around for it a bunch and couldn't find anything, but thank you! Plz let me know if you find it! 🙂

Hmm are you referring to the TFE Line Counting method? That one is obsolete. The line of symmetry method on hole punching still works great and will likely continue working great since it's not really 'cheating the system' like line counting.

It's a shame the video is down now, for now just practice the questions and keep track of the holes with a 4x4 grid. The method just revolved around mirroring the location of the holes across the 'line of symmetry' or essentially where the fold occurred. It's a little hard to explain over text, I'll record a new video over the summer.

Thanks a bunch! I am using your 10 week schedule at the moment! Please let me know once you record it, I am looking forward to it! 🙂

Yup that's the one. Disregard, OP - I clearly have no idea what I'm talking about.

Do everything in your power to learn the line of symmetry method for the Holy Punching section - it will SAVE your life.

There are fifteen hole punching questions - and the line of symmetry works 100% of the time - it is completely fool proof. It will help you do your 15 hole punching questions in SUPER speed.

There was a beautiful YouTube video by someone named John Chen - but he took down the YouTube video a few weeks ago - he explained how to do it within 10 minutes.

This might sound out of context - but remember that if the paper UNFOLDS onto a hole that is already there - then that hole disappears - if someone else can please explain this - it would save your life.

Not sure why John Chen would take down that video....but I saw it too @nguyenkimphat and it was pure GOLD.... did you take any notes from that video by chance? Or know his contact info cuz I could surely use it right about now

This guy is great! The video goes by a little slowly, but he did a great job of explaining and showcasing the line of symmetry method! Hope this helps 🙂
