I know the minimum for the overall GPA is around 3.5, but I forget what the schools look for when they calculate your science/math GPA.

there's no official "minimum" GPA. i think the average is around 3.5-3.6 (correct me if i'm wrong, people). some schools do have a cutoff point either with GPA or MCAT scores where they won't consider you if you're below a certain point, but to my knowledge those numbers are not publicized. you can get in with a below average GPA if you've got the MCAT and/or ECs to make up for it. or if you're a non-trad student with a bunch of time/activities since undergrad. or if you have a super compelling story. you get the idea.

The average GPA for accepted students is 3.66, some schools have GPA cutoffs but most of those are so low that I wouldn't consider applying with that GPA anyway.

Wow, it wen up? A couple years ago, the average was only 3.61 or something like that. 3.66 and 3.61 is a huge difference. It might even go up to 3.7 in a couple years.
