I'm curious as to what the number of applicants is for this year?
and how many spaces are available for dental schools in the US?

What's the approximate acceptance rate for an applicant to get into any dental school in the US?

The ratio is about 1:3

I believe there is about 4,000 - 4,500 slots available for all US dental schools and last cycle they received about 11,500 AADSAS applicants. Since schools are still accepting applications, there isn't a total for the number of applicants yet for this cycle, but this link shows the number of applicants to dental school for each of the last 10 cycles through AADSAS.
