I have been doing 14-15 credits per semester (school allows between 12-18. However due to AP credits and CC credits, I could do min number of credits from here on (currently junior) to graduate in 4 years and then apply. I;m doing 12 credits this semester to catch up/load up on EC until I grdaute. If I hover around 12-14 mark am I fine?

Do the minimum you need to be full time and graduate on time. The rest of the time should be spent partying, having fun, and even getting a little work done if need be. I never took more than 14 hours a semester, worked for me. Don't feel bad as long as you are making As. No one gives extra credit for students taking 18 hours who make bad grades.

Everyone I've talked to (medical students, residents, attendings) has all told me the same thing: take the easiest load possible and just do well. I think 14-15 credits is very respectable. Even if you drop to 12 credits of class, you can always add a TA/mentoring position for credit + perhaps credit for research you are conducting/helping with, putting you easily at 14/15 credits with just 12 graded credits that semester (say, ~4 classes).

Just get those A's!

23 just like the flavors of Dr. Pepper. Just make sure you get all A's. I think 23 is another golden ratio. The best example I can come up with is demh23.

thats some sense of humor you have

If you're applying after graduation, then I don't see any issues. Just make sure you get in the necessary and recommended classes in.
