What is the SECOND most important section?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
what the hell is an adcom?
i have been hearing al throughout my time on this board and never bothered to ask till now. Sounds like a computer. so id say they all count the same cuz computers arent smart, they just memorize like fools.
thats a tip. dont just memorize and be a fool. learn and know what u study.

if adcom is an admissions commitee type of thing then id say bio than orgo cuz orgo is supposedly more difficult of a class compared to gchem.
math is at the bottom of the barrel if it were possible to even put those sections in a barrel

I don't understand why bio is the most important section? We are going into the health sciences and the most important subject is probably chemistry. The body is a complex chemical machine and it is this chemistry that makes the biology important. Therefore, I think Organic and Gen Chem are important. The most important science would be Biochemistry by far. I feel that having a solid understanding of biochemistry is much more important than any biology class. Just my opinion.

he asked what admisisons might think is most important. But ur probably right. Its actually all the sciences. ur TS is probably where u really need to excell to make an impression.

nice pic wirdnerv. 300 is great movie. omg omg

I was told by people that RC would probably be the most important. I mean, I always thought that you need a good RC score because you read so much in dental school. But I would probably put Bio as a close second.

I think you are asking the wrong crowd. Most of these people here are not adcom and still studying all kind of stuff, isn't it kinda moot to ask?

ah, yes. Reading comprehension is probably a close second. I would say that RC is more important than bio but less important than the chemistries.

I don't see why RC would be most important - maybe 3rd or 4th. If it is really so, then any english major can become a dentist anytime even if they are not into reading the sci stuff?

I think Bio first b/c there is so much info there for you to remember which in a way is similar to dental school. Then a close 2nd RC b/c of the insane amount of reading you'll do doing those 4 yrs!!! Just my 2 cents

But that reading load is same for most professional schools including law, med...
