I know it's a personal and sensitive topic for many but I am curious as to what is a good number to "aim" for as a new grad? I know it varies by region.

I live in BC, Canada and have been out of school for almost a year now. My first associateship was not very good at all, and I was only producing on average about 20,000 per month and my gross take home 7-8K working 4 days a week (32 hours). My production could've been higher, but the owner was like a magnet drawing in many of the crown&bridge patients that I was diagnosing and tx planning. And when I confronted him about why front desk would schedule patients with him and not me especially when I had discussed tx plan with the patient, he stated to me that I had "communication issues" and it was how I presented myself to the patients. I thought that was total BS. I left after about 6 months because I was being taken advantage of. I'm now on my 2nd associateship for 2 months now and my production is a lot better hovering usually around 40,000 with my gross monthly income being around 15-16k working 45 hours at 5 days per week.

Average production is right around $90k. I'm an associate for a chain of corporate dentistry offices. Seeing mainly medicaid patients and doing bread and butter dentistry. (80% kids, 20% adults). Usually work at 2 of the offices: 3 days in one office and 2 days at another one. Work 40hrs a week.
I'm in San Antonio, Tx

90K... a month? What is the monthly income?
