I just wanted anyone who attends UW SOP to elaborate on their experience there. I also wanted to see how the quarter system plays out as well being it is the full 17 credit each term. Please be detailed and specific....I appreciate it so much!

Thanks Guys!🙂

Did you read through this year's UW thread? I wrote quite a bit on UW there already...

The quarter system is busy. I've never been on a semester system, but there's usually two midterms and one final each ten-week quarter, not counting projects. There are a lot of classes to fit in, and then there's the EC stuff and your internship, although not everyone gets involved and many of the first-years don't work yet.

The nice thing is the classes are over soon in the quarter system. Except for anatomy and physiology. That lasts all year, and it's not my favorite. But I've never been a huge fan of anatomy, so that's my opinion. The other nice thing is that at spring break and winter break, it's a break. You may be working or doing other projects for EC activities, but no school work.

We do seem to have a lot of class projects this first year, to which we're randomly assigned, but I think some of that is professors would rather grade 16 projects than 82.

I was wondering how is the schedule like at UW and is the grading system A, B, C, etc..or A+, A-, B+, B-? seems like an odd question but I think it is an important detail to know..........
